Define the Objective
Start With the Decision That Needs to Be Made
A property disputes matter is easier to evaluate when the immediate decision is separated from the surrounding stress. The first conversation should identify what has already happened, what needs attention now, and what a useful resolution would look like for the client.
That does not mean choosing a legal tactic before the facts are understood. It means creating a practical agenda: the people involved, the documents that may control, prior communications, important dates, and the business, family, financial, or personal priorities that should shape the next step.
